1. What Data We Collect
Personal Information: Email addresses (via Firebase Auth). We do not collect names or physical addresses.
User Content: Text content, titles, descriptions, and tags of the AI prompts users save.
Usage Data: We track gamification and engagement metrics (e.g., how many times a user's community prompt was "copied" or "saved" by others). We also track clicks on sponsored/native ads.
2. How Data is Stored & Processed (Third Parties)
Database & Auth: All prompt data, user profiles, and authentication is handled via Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Auth).
Payments: All payment processing is securely offloaded to designated third-party processors (such as Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or Paddle). EscroAI does not store, see, or process credit card numbers on its own servers.
3. Local Storage / Caching (Cookies Alternative)
EscroAI utilizes "Offline Persistence" (Client-Side Caching) via Firebase. This means a copy of the user's vault data is cached locally on their device's browser/app storage to allow the app to load instantly and save bandwidth. We do not use traditional tracking cookies for third-party retargeting.
4. Data Deletion Rights (GDPR / CCPA compliance)
Users have a self-service "Danger Zone" in their Settings menu. Typing "DELETE" and confirming will instantly:
- Delete all personal prompts from the database.
- Delete their user profile document.
- Delete their authentication record (login credentials).
Note: As mentioned in the ToS, community contributions remain but are permanently unlinked from the user's identity.
5. Visibility of User Data
By default, the user's avatar displays the first letter of their email address. Users have the built-in option to obscure this by choosing a custom initial or utilizing the "Generic Shield Avatar" to maintain total visual privacy.
